Welcome

Welcome to my little creative world...this is a special place where I could dream and share some of my work with you. This passion of mine all started when I was a little girl, reading tons of magazines and staring at every page...mesmerized with every detail of that photo...the words, the different fonts, the colours, the lay-outs, the images...I was enthralled and just loved reading mags for hours...I would also just doodle away...but never thought I could draw professionally...who knew that this love would carry on to my adult life? This fueled my fire to try to encapsulate similar images in my head...then one birthday, I was given a camera...a poloraid...I couldn't believe that I could capture an object and see it instantly...my head was filled with ideas that just wouldn't go away...I wanted to take pictures of everything...I mean, EVERYTHING...but as I grew older, responsibilities piled high, my creative side stood at a standstill until I had my miracle bebes...then my whole idea of creating out of love was born...Labour of Love... I am a self-taught artist and photographer. I am not a professional photographer or illustrator by all means but I absolutely LOVE to capture beauty and simple pleasures that can last a lifetime-either by a camera or by drawing! I truly enjoy children illustration and love to draw different characters based on my little ones. I am in the process of creating something very special for my family to leave a mark, a trace of my existance and a legacy in this world. The following thought has always inspired me to follow my dreams. I will never forget these poignant words that a professional photographer once told me, "you don't need a fancy camera, a title or a degree to take a beautiful picture...just your eye and a true passion!" One day, I'd like to become a professional but for now I'm continuing to learn and create. If you are interested in any of my prints or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at labourof_love at hotmail dot com. Thank you again for stopping by and I hope my world can inspire a little bit of love and happiness to your world. Peace, Jo Moran...xoxo
